    Samsung extends PlayGalaxy Link support

      Samsung extends PlayGalaxy Link support

In September of this year, Samsung introduced PlayGalaxy Link, a service that lets you stream games that are on your PC straight to your smartphone. At that time, only the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ were supported, but in November the Galaxy S10 also made the list.

Now, the South Korean decided to expand the support of PlayGalaxy Link, including other models in its service. So, from now on, owners of Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy A90 can already take advantage of this tool, which will start in version 1.07.

The update enabling PlayGalaxy Link support is being rolled out gradually, so it should take a few days for it to reach all new compatible smartphones. At the moment, PlayGalaxy Link is still limited to a few markets, namely: United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, France, Singapore and Russia.

If we take into account the current scenario, Samsung's service needs to expand quickly or it will be "swallowed up" by the competition. Steam Link, for example, has been improving daily on Android and iOS, while "Moonlight" is also another interesting solution.

It is worth remembering that to make use of PlayGalaxy Link, you will need a computer with Windows 10 and at least an Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon 550 GPU, Intel Core i5 and 8GB of RAM. Do you have a machine that meets these requirements? So Samsung's service can be a good option, given that it delivers some attractive features, such as the possibility to unlock Windows using your cell phone.
