Facebook releases first images of long-awaited feature by users

Since Clubhouse became popular among iOS users, other social networks started developing voice rooms on their platforms, adding yet another way for community members to interact. About two months ago Facebook Inc. announced the interest in this type of tool and this week released the first images of the interface of the resource that will officially arrive from the second half of the year and will be available for both Android and iOS.

    Non-Facebook Voice Rooms

The novelty will have full integration with Facebook and Messenger, allowing you to participate in live interactive rooms or just listen to what is being broadcast by someone else, a kind of podcast. According to information, Facebook will add a form of monetization in the voice rooms, thereby allowing content creators to profit from the platform and migrate from the competition (Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces) to the alternative created by Mark Zuckerberg.

The rooms will be organized according to the chosen theme, in this way it is possible to navigate between various subjects quickly. Another feature that will be available is the so-called 'Soundbite', in which it is possible to record short audio messages as if it were a story.

The function is still in its beta version but it will probably officially arrive in the app soon, although there is still no information on which countries will receive the news beforehand, but if the company follows the previous pattern the new functions will be released first in the United States. The feature is expected to arrive for users only in the second half of the year, but it is likely that by then those who are enrolled in the platform's beta testers program will have early access.

Although the Clubhouse's popularity has greatly diminished after the week of hype, several developers are working to add this functionality that initially attracted users to their apps. Twitter, for example, has been testing 'Spaces' for several months, an area in which it is possible to interact with other users through voice messages. In addition, Reddit has also indicated that it is developing this option and that it will soon be available to the social network community.
