Facebook has a somewhat inconvenient feature, the traditional nudges. In addition to being seen as uncomfortable, many users find the feature totally useless. Even so, present on the social network for years, it has never been touched. Now, however, it seems that Facebook should change the button.
According to Matt Navarra, social media manager for The Next Web, Facebook is trying to attach a new feature called "Greetings". Such a feature would be similar to pokes, however, unlike simply poking a friend from the social network, it will also be possible to choose a gesture to be forwarded together, such as a hello, a hug, wink or tap here.

Everything indicates that the greetings are being tested with a small group of Facebook users. So, there is no certainty that it will arrive for everyone else, as well as a release date.
