The Google Translate app for IOS now includes multiple regional options for voice input and output. According to All Things How, such regional speech inputs and outputs include the US, UK, Australia and India for English; Bangladesh and India to Bengali; France and Canada for French; and Mexico and Spain for Spanish. Now, having the app recognize and speak in these regional pronunciations can be quite effective for travelers who want to be understood, as not all languages are spoken the same in all parts of the world.
The new version of Google Translate is now available for free on the App Store. The tool currently supports 103 typed languages, and can even translate bilingual conversations in real time in 37 languages.
