iPhone 12 is dismantled and compared to the Pro version

After a youtuber posted a video of an iPhone 12 being disassembled comparing the device with the iPhone 11, another video of the new iPhone disassembled appeared on the internet. However, this time a comparison was made between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models. The images were made available through a Chinese website and it seems that both models are very similar.

Both the standard and the Pro versions of the iPhone 12 have an L-shaped logic board. The only visible difference is the LiDAR connector, which is not available on the iPhone 12. In addition to filling the board with elements for the LiDAR camera, the connector for the telephoto lens is also absent on the iPhone 12.

Both models compared have a 2815 mAh battery and according to the author of the video, the iPhone 12 could have used a larger capacity using a custom-shaped unit. The rest of the components are the same and theoretically interchangeable, but you never know what Apple can do to avoid swapping parts from one model to another.
