MacBook Air and Pro with M1 are cracking the screen for no apparent reason

Released in November 2020, the MacBook M1 was highly praised in general by specialized critics. However, recently reports began to emerge that the Apple notebook broke the screen for no apparent reason, with use considered normal. The information came through the notebookcheck website, where it is said that the problem is occurring on both MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

Reports of problems with screens on MacBook M1 cracking can be found on Apple's support forums, on Reddit and on specialized Apple websites such as 9to5mac.

The probable reasons for the screen breakage of MacBooks M1

So far, there are two theories as to what might be causing the screens on MacBooks M1 to crack. The first one says that it can happen when closing the notebook, where some object/dirt left on the surface of the computer can cause excessive pressure on the surface of the display glass. The second says that it may be a problem with the screen itself, which may have a great fragility to any pressure applied to the notebook when closing it or holding it with a single hand.
