Moto Edge S! Motorola confirms cross-device multitasking capability

Last week, Motorola released a teaser on the internet revealing the Moto Edge S as its next release and which will debut Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 870 chip. The official announcement of the device is scheduled to take place tomorrow, January 26, in China. However, with a few hours left for that, Motorola released a new teaser talking about a new smartphone feature.

The promotional image reveals that the Motorola Edge S has multi-device collaboration, that is, it will be able to work together with other devices in its ecosystem, such as other smartphones, notebooks and desktop computers. This feature should be well used by users who perform many tasks on different devices, allowing synchronization between them to receive and send files, screen spreading and so on.

What to expect from the Motorola Edge S?

Motorola has already confirmed that it will come with the Snapdragon 870 chip, the first on the market to feature this processor. The new Qualcomm chip carries some parameters very similar to the top of the line Snapdragon 888, but it is considered a turbocharged version of the Snapdragon 865+.

The Moto Edge S has already passed a test on AnTuTu, and the result was quite interesting, thanks to these overclocking settings. The score reached was 679.860 points, sufficiently characterized as a "pseudo-flagship" chip and that should be put to good use in the smartphone market going forward.

The 6,7-inch Full HD+ screen will have a cutout at the top to house the dual 16-megapixel front camera. In addition to coming with Android 11 out of the box, the Moto Edge S has a 5.000 mAh battery and four-lens rear camera, the main one being 64 megapixels. Its launch will take place in China tomorrow, and Techlifers will stay tuned for all the details.
