The Galaxy A72 5G is a smartphone model from Samsung that will be accompanied by the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A32 5G - the three A-series smartphones expected to launch in 2021. About the Galaxy A72 5G specifically, it arrives as a successor to the Galaxy A71 4G and Galaxy A71 5G, both smartphones that were successful in the company's sales.
More recent reports claimed that the A72 could be the company's first A-series phone to feature a five-lens camera setup. However, the information circulating now is that it will have a four-camera package on the rear. The information is according to an Italian publication that shared images of the aluminum mold of the device.

The image shows that the device has a rectangular module on the back, very common in other devices from the manufacturer with a total of five cutouts, four lenses and an LED flash. About the camera configuration, the information is that it will be formed by the main one with 64MP, plus a second 12MP ultrawide sensor and two 5MP snappers for macro and depth capture.

The bottom of the device confirms previous rumors that said that this gadget will come with the USB-C port and the P2 input for headphones, next to the microphone and speaker. We also noticed the presence of buttons on the right side of the device, with the Power button and volume control being positioned in the same position as on other devices from the manufacturer.
About its specs, the company has yet to confirm, but the expectation is that the A72 will come with a 6,7-inch screen, being powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and Android 11 out of the box.
Price and launch
The Galaxy A72 5G is expected to arrive sometime during the month of March 2021 with at least four color options: black, white, blue and violet. Its price has not yet been revealed, but it is believed to cost in the range of €550 to €600 (between R$3.600 and R$4.000 directly converted according to the current price).
