    The new "monster" avell already comes with the credentials in its own name, the Avell G1575 RTX. yes, this RTX comes from the new ultra-high-performance GPU series from NVIDIA, and the model we tested has the new NVIDIA RTX 2070 and 8 GB of RAM. the novelty of avell also has the seal of being the first gaming notebook to land in Spain with the new Ray Tracing from the series RTX from the company. Is it the ideal gaming laptop? Check out what we think of the supercomputer in this review.

    Positives

    • 15,6 Full HD screen with 144 Hz and 5ms response;
    • Keyboard with RGB colors and very responsive mechanical keys;
    • Light weight impresses, with only 2 Kg;
    • Cooling with 2 fans that work well with speed control;
    • Factory SSD and upgradeable in M.2 format;
    • NVIDIA Turing, Ray Tracing e Deep Learning Super Sampling.

    Negative points

    • Battery life could be longer (average of 3h);
    • With only 3 USB connections, more ports are needed;
    • The sound is pretty weak, but for gamers it doesn't make much difference;
    • Webcam brings very average images.

    Design

    Review: Avell G1575 RTX brings beefy GPU and SSD from the factory
    Model has a brushed finish and impressive lightness, only 2 kg.

    Its brushed metal style finish brings a very thin and light body. It weighs only 2 kg and has a total height of just 2 centimeters when closed. The logo of avell has embossed and chrome finish on its upper housing. The sides keep the same color as its body, dark gray. Its screen edges are very thin and it has good reinforcement on the hinges, leaving its opening angles very firm.

    The mechanical keyboard has RGB color technology and delivers good performance with fast responses and many color preset options. The accuracy of the keys is great, despite being very close together and not having as good a height as conventional mechanical desktop keyboards.

    performance and screen

    The gaming notebook delivers the best performance not only in games. Its 15,6-inch screen with Full HD resolution is one of the model's strong points. In addition to the good quality in vivid colors, it also has 144 Hz and 5 ms response time. For those who play, these two items are of paramount importance in the quality of the game.

    Full HD screen with 144Hz and 5ms

    But what is the real advantage between a 60 Hz notebook or monitor screen for a 144 Hz one?

    The gameplay is more fluid, as its heavy processor + GPU configuration can deliver more frames per second to the screen (FPS). The amount of Hertz determines the amount of frames per second that play back, ie the maximum amount of FPS you can see is limited by the maximum Hertz frequency of your monitor.

    So, even if you have a supercomputer and your screen doesn't support 144 Hz or 240 Hz, the maximum you'll be able to see in games is only 60 frames per second. Check out the video below with an example in practice showing the difference in games.

    In addition, the model's new video card, the RTX 2070 of 8GB GDDR6, it has Ray Tracing technology, which faithfully transmits reflections and shadows rendered in a digital environment as if they were real-world lights.

    The card also features a deeplearning technology called DLSS, which replaces anti-aliasing and promises better resolutions without loss of performance. The news can now be found in the games: Battlefield V, Anthem e Justice.

    Games keep up with the best resolutions in all heavy games (Image: YouTube)

    in games with Avell G1575 RTX, the quality has always been stable at “ultra” or “very high” settings. I was able to test the heaviest games and they all remained with great gameplay.

    All models in the line have two M.2 slots, plus an exclusive SATA HD/SSD slot. In addition, the notebooks also support up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. The initial configuration brings 16GB of RAM.

    The processor is a Intel Core i7-8759H 4,1th generation, with a maximum clock of 12 GHz and Turbo Boost. In our tests it didn't even reach its maximum speed. Thanks to its six cores, 9 threads and 70 MB of cache, the processor at no time showed itself to be choking, it didn't even go beyond XNUMX% of processing - even when playing the heaviest games and having several tabs of Google Chrome open.

    O Avell G1575 RTX It also has the latest technologies in storage and memory speed. THE Intel Optane and M.2 SSD slots that increase file read and write numbers.

    Autonomy and cooling

    The refrigeration of Avell G1575 RTX it is very good. With two coolers, four air vents and a mesh at the bottom of the notebook, gameplay is very good without heating up the equipment too much near the touchpad and keyboard.

    The Avell system has its own program to control the temperature and speed of the coolers.

    The part that heats up the most is under the screen, near the power button, but the heat dissipation generated by the GPU and CPU end up letting the notebook run everything without disturbing its performance.

    Turbo Mode is ideal for the heaviest games. With it, the video card and processor cooler run at full speed. The fan noise is pretty loud, but nothing that interferes with the game sound coming from a gaming headset.

    Speed coolers and RGB colors

    Don't expect this more powerful option to run without your battery plugged in. In the tests we did with the notebook away from the power outlet, we couldn't even get 2 hours of high-level gameplay. A gaming notebook at this level of configuration was not made to be far from the power outlet, just for casual gaming or internet browsing.

    Attending Netflix ou YouTube, the notebook remained unplugged for almost 4h45, but that was with the energy saving setting activated and the fans running at the lowest speed.

    Conectividade

    Its wide connectivity is very good, with all the latest connections on the notebook market: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 1x HDMI, 2x Mini DisplayPort, 1x USB-C 3.1, 2x USB 3.1, 1x USB 2.0, headphones, microphone, SD card reader and RJ45 network port.

    Review: Avell G1575 RTX brings beefy GPU and SSD from the factory
    Notebook brings speed in processing and has great cooling system.

    I continue with the opinion that connections via USB are always recommended to be on the left side or on the back of the notebook. On the right side, any connection interferes with the use of the mouse. In normal notebooks this does not influence much, but with the Avell G1575 RTX, will always be used by a gamer with a mouse close by.

    Audio

    The sound of the notebook lacks a lot in quality. THE avell took advantage of the fact that gamers hardly use the standard sound, always with gamers headsets to save money in this regard. The audios don't bring good treble and much less the bass appears. I miss those moments when watching Netflix.

    Notebook sins in the audio, but in the end it doesn't make much difference

    Conclusion

    O Avell G1575 RTX it certainly arrives as a high-end model and still brings a very competitive price compared to national competitors. If we compare directly with the more expensive models from Acer, Dell and Lenovo, the avell comes out ahead already equipped in the 2019 line with plates NVIDIA RTX.

    Both the Lenovo Legion Y530 and the Samsung Odyssey Z and the Alienware 15 R3 are priced very close and even more expensive than the Avell G1575 RTX. The great advantage of choosing Avell's new model is that it can already count on the most current hardware of 2019, embedded technologies that will last for at least another 3 years.

    Upgrading both RAM memory (to a maximum of 32 GB), and another SSD in the other M.2 port, will make the notebook even faster and without worrying about weight, since the size of the new HDs are infinitely lighter. and smaller than the old SSDs.
