Samsung and Qualcomm, after revealing the expansion for the arrival of 5G, issued a statement this Thursday (22) revealing that they closed a partnership with the aim of expanding the development of the 7 nanometer processors that will be used in Qualcomm's 5G chipsets. .
The technology used is 7nm LPP (Low Power Plus) EUV which simplifies manufacturing and increases energy efficiency when compared to 10nn processors.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung has already started construction of a new 7nm processor factory that will be operated by TMSC, the world's leading developer of microchips for mobile developers.
The two companies have a nearly ten-year partnership in chip development.
