Samsung Announces It Will Remove Paid Apps from Galaxy Store; know more

Most smartphone manufacturers have a native application store on the device's system, thus allowing users to download exclusive applications and generate revenue for the company with advertising. Despite this, on Thursday, the 24th, Samsung announced that it will remove all paid content that is present in the Galaxy Store in some countries, thus leaving only free apps available to users.

One of the main advantages of the native store is the exclusive applications that are consequently not available on Google Play, Android's application service. We still don't know the name of the apps that will be removed, but it is likely that they will have unique titles.

The company's announcement was made through a notification informing that from January 26, 2021, the app store will discontinue paid content in several countries, namely: Albania, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Iceland, Moldova, Pakistan and Uruguay .

For now, we still don't know if the company will expand this limitation to other countries. In South America, only Uruguay will have paid content removed from the Galaxy Store, leaving users apprehensive about the possibility of Spain joining the list later.
