Samsung's standard camera app already offers several features such as single take, Director's View, 8K video snap, among others. However, there are features that enthusiasts wish the app had, such as RAW support. With that in mind, Samsung created an app specifically for photography "lovers". The application Expert Raw was developed by Samsung and is still in beta stage.

Samsung launches Expert Raw app
This app brings features like 16-bit multi-frame-based RAW support for main camera, ultra-wide angle, telephoto and periscope. Compared to the normal app, RAW photos are only allowed when using the main and ultra-wide lens.
According to a Samsung forum moderator, multi-frame support means getting RAW with greater sharpness, detail and dynamic range. Furthermore, according to the information, the Expert Raw app also has HDR, lossless JPEG support, professional mode controls (ISO, shutter speed, exposure, manual focus, histogram) and the possibility to export RAW profiles to Lightroom from Adobe.
Launch and availability
There is no official release date yet, but if you want access to the Expert Raw app now, FrontTron, a popular informant, has provided a link to download the APK.
It is important to point out that unfortunately the launch of the application only is available to Galaxy S21 Ultra, but according to the Samsung forum moderator, other devices still gained support like the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy Tab S5e.
