    Samsung starts removing ads from apps developed by the company

    In August of this year, Samsung confirmed that it would remove ads from mobile apps developed by the company. Now, finally, the South Korean cellphone maker is starting to withdraw Ads from apps like Samsung Pay, Weather, Theme and Health. Reports began to surface on the Samsung Community forum, where the first sites to notice this were 9to5Google and TizenHelp.

    As of now, almost all apps developed by Samsung will no longer have banners displayed. The exception to the rule is Samsung Pau, where one of its pages has a screen dedicated to special offers, which makes a lot of sense considering the purpose of displaying ads.

    Previously, Samsung even said:

    "Our priority is to deliver innovative mobile experiences to our consumers based on their needs and wants;

    We value our users' feedback and continue our commitment to providing them with the best possible experience with our Galaxy products and services."

    How to Get Ad Restriction in Samsung Apps

    If you're still seeing ads on your Samsung phone, you can manually update apps through the Galaxy Store (the company's app store). After that, I restarted the phone and that's it, the implementation will be done. It is possible to force stop applications so that they stop displaying advertisements instead of turning the smartphone off and on.
