The Galaxy A52 is one of Samsung's most talked about smartphones during this first part of the year. Announced approximately fifteen days ago, the device has been well received by the general public and also by specialized critics. Aiming to further improve the user experience for this category of smartphones, Samsung is releasing the April 2021 security patch update.

The South Korean giant is striding ahead of other manufacturers when it comes to update. Several older Galaxy smartphones are already running Android 11 and more of them are starting to receive update notification every week. In addition to system updates, the company has been constantly releasing security patches to keep your devices up-to-date and secure.

Despite not revealing what threats this update resolves or what loopholes it is closing for potential attackers, the Galaxy A52 is getting a new firmware update. As far as we know, only the 4G version has the update available that arrives with the version code A525FXXU1AUC5.

In addition, only users from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia and Slovenia confirmed the update's arrival. The other regions should receive soon, as this type of update usually happens gradually.

Galaxy's with April Security Patch

So far, the new security firmware is already available for the Galaxy S21, Note 10, Z Fold 2, and even for the Galaxy A51 which received the update to the One UI 3.1 interface.

It is also worth remembering that, if you do not receive the notification itself, the user can reach the availability of the update manually. To do this, just follow the path to Setup > Software Update and if available, click Download and Install. This instruction applies to Galaxy A52 4G and 5G.
