Galaxy S21 appears on test platform with Snapdragon 875 and 8 GB of RAM

Galaxy S21 appears on test platform with Snapdragon 875 and 8 GB of RAM

Rumors about the Galaxy S21's technical specifications have been circulating the internet constantly, each confirming one thing or another. This time, the S21 Plus was leaked in an image on the Geekbench database page, a platform that performs tests on new devices.

The leak confirms part of some of the recent rumors that emerged on the network, pointing out that the device would come with the Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 processors, plus 8 GB RAM, running Android 11 and One UI 3.1 by default. Much is said about the Ultra version, pointing out that Samsung would support the S Pen, a pen that until then was exclusive to the Tab and Note line.

    Technical specifications

What is practically confirmed so far is that the device will feature an FHD+ screen in the proportions of 6,2 inches for the S21 and 6,7 inches for the S21 Plus. These two versions arrive with the same default refresh rate, 120Hz. The most robust edition, the S21 Ultra, should boast a 6,8-inch WQHD+ screen, with a refresh rate that adapts to 120 Hz as well.

Also talking about the Galaxy S21 Ultra, some rumors are claiming that Samsung will introduce S Pen support to the device, an accessory that was only sold for the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab lines. Some discussions have circulated on the internet, and some claim that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will not have the compartment that houses the S Pen directly on the device's body, and therefore, it is believed that Samsung will offer cases to protect the pen separately.

End of the line? Rumors suggest that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy Note in 2021

In terms of battery, the most basic version will arrive with a 4.000 mAh, the Plus version will have 4.800 mAh, and 5.000 mAh for the Ultra edition. About the cameras, it seems that little will change in relation to their predecessors, as they are modern lenses with good energy use.

    Launch

Samsung is expected to launch its new line in January 2021, but the company does not confirm this information. Until then, it may be that new leaks fall into the network and disprove or confirm previously passed information.

About price, no relevant information is addressed at the moment, being necessary to wait until the company officially announces the product.
