Yesterday, Tuesday (17), Samsung suspended the beta program of its operating system for several devices, including the Galaxy S10 and Fold 2. The measure taken by the company will likely postpone the launch of One UI 3, which was planned to the end of November and beginning of December, as was done in the previous version of the native South Korean software.
Despite the pause for corrections to the problems reported by users, the company released an update for the Galaxy S20, which a few weeks ago also had its process interrupted after the beta version had flaws and made the system unstable on the smartphone.
Improvements in One UI 3.0
The new firmware brings bug fixes found in the previous version, improvements in camera performance and overall system performance.
The update has only been released for the UK and Germany, but Samsung is expected to make the update available via OTA (Over-The-Air) to other locations soon. Some users reported that they did not receive the notification to download and install the new package, in which case you will have to do the process manually:
- Access the settings of your Galaxy S20;
- Go to the 'ABOUT THE DEVICE' tab and tap on 'SYSTEM UPDATE';
- Check if there is an update available, if there is, download it and then install it.

As usual, Samsung gradually releases the new system for its smartphones, arriving first for the manufacturer's high-end models. As there was a temporary stoppage in some tests, it is possible that these models will be affected, that is, they will receive the stable One UI 3 with delay.
