So far we don't really know which device will come with folding screen technology, however, information from South Korea shows some of the doubts.

According to a report shared by industry-related sources, who have not had their identities revealed, Samsung is expected to start mass production of its first foldable screen phone in November this year, so in December or January 2019, the device should be introduced. The sources indicate for the official release will be on January 9, 2019.

The sources say that Samsung decided on the final specifications of the device not long ago, as well as its production strategy. The device's screen will be finished in March, before going into mass production.

Apparently, the device will come with a 7,3-inch OLED screen that folds in half, similar to a book. The sources also say that Samsung is expected to unveil the device during its CES conference, which is taking place this week in Las Vegas.

Samsung has not confirmed the recent information, nor has it detailed its production schedule. But, certainly, the device should boost Samsung's sales mainly in relation to Apple, its big competitor.
