Samsung should soon introduce the new Galaxy M12, at least that's what it seems. After being certified by the Bluetooth SIG and confirmed the Exynos 850 chipset under the hood, the Galaxy M12 now receives battery certification. Rumors and previous information pointed out that the device would come with a 7.000 mAh battery, however, that is not what has been confirmed.
The SM-M127F/DS model appeared in the FCC database receiving the certification of a 6.000 mAh battery, not 7.000 mAh as expected. In fact, the documents located on the agency's website do not explicitly mention the battery capacity, but they do state that the M12 will arrive with a battery model EB-BM207ABY, which is a known cell of 6.000 mAh.

What do we know about the Galaxy M12 so far?
The FCC also does not give concrete details about the other specifications of the Galaxy M12 that confirm previous information, so we keep the confirmation from Geekbench, which at least states that the device will come with SoC Exynos 850 and Android 11 out of the box. The benchmark platform also talked about the device arriving with 3GB of RAM, but we believe that this is one of the versions that Samsung will make available, and can be chosen by the user at the time of purchase. One piece of information that reinforces this idea is that the platform has located at least five versions of the same Galaxy M12: SM-M127F_DS, SM-M127G_DS, SM-M127F, SM-M127F_DSN and SM-F127G_DS.
About the design, so far, what we know of the Galaxy M12 has been revealed by computer renderings of the device. According to the images, the device will sport a display with a waterdrop notch to house the front camera, and although it is an entry-level device, it will come with a quad camera on the back.

The images also give details about the fingerprint scanner function that will be located on the side of the device, in addition to the USB-C port present at the bottom accompanied by the P2 connector for headphones.
Samsung has not given any hints about the launch of the Galaxy M12, however, logically, this should not take long to happen, since after receiving such certifications, the next step is to actually announce the launch. Let's wait!
