The announcement was made by Ankita Kirti in the Microsoft community, where it is said that the new version of the OneDrive program will help those users who need to transfer large files or many files at the same time due to the possibility of accessing more features in the 64-bit version compared to 32 bit edition.

    Ankita Kirti diz:

"We know this is a much-anticipated and much-requested feature and we're excited to make it available for early access. You can now download the 64-bit version for use with OneDrive work, school, and home accounts."

It is important to note that the update to the new version of OneDrive will only be available for 64-bit versions of Windows. If you own a Surface Pro X, you'll have to wait. Microsoft recommends using the 32-bit version for now if your operating system is 32-bit.
