What's in the Windows 11 Build 22463 Update?

Windows 11 Build 22463 is yet another preview update of Microsoft's new operating system (OS) and brings minor bug fixes. According to the developers, the implementation of new features may take time to appear in these OS builds.

Titled "'the patch' Windows 11 Insider Preview Windows 11 Insider Preview 22463.1000 (rs_prerelease)", the new update can be downloaded on PCs that have a compatible processor and TPM module (understand what TPM is here). If you are using a virtual computer, it is likely that you will need to enable encryption, add a TPM module, and enable secure boot to run this and future updates.

There is no new functionality that comes bundled with Windows 11 Build 22463.1000, the changes Microsoft made in this patch may or may not appear in next year's update. According to the Windows developer, Insiders may "go on to encounter a lot more issues as development of the next feature update progresses".

In Build 224463 for Windows 11, a watermark may appear on the desktop, but don't be alarmed as this is normal according to Microsoft employees.
