Outlook will get a single app for Windows 10 and 11

Outlook will get a single app for Windows 10 and 11

According to users of the Office Insider Program, Outlook for Windows 11 and Windows 10 will have a whole new look in 2022. According to the information released, a preview (beta version) of the application should be made available in the coming weeks.

Recently, Microsoft even confirmed that it intends to unify its OneNote apps for Windows. Following this same line, the company intends to do the same with its Outlook apps, which is excellent, since it is something that must be confusing for many (having two apps for the same purpose on the same platform).

Called "Project Monarch" by Microsoft, developers are working on a new Outlook app for Windows 10 and 11. Many are suggesting that this initiative is part of the "One Outlook" vision that aims to replace the Windows Mail and Calendar apps.

The "One Outlook" app was leaked earlier this year and has now been updated to "Outlook" with the "beta" branding in the logo. This suggests that a preview of the app will be coming soon. A new version of Outlook (beta) is believed to be released even before Windows 11 wins its final version.
