It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has been internally developing other new systems, such as Windows Core OS. Speculation about the Windows Core operating system has been circulating for a long time.

This system first appeared in 2017, but Microsoft has never confirmed or denied the existence of Windows Core OS until now.

But, in a recent document associated with the Windows 10 v1903 May Update, Microsoft has included some instructions related to Windows Core OS.

The fact is that with or without updating problems, Microsoft remains the isolated leader in the personal computer market. The demand is huge, and while there are other systems like Apple and Linux, it's definitely challenging to try to get anywhere near what Microsoft has today in market share.

Windows 10 is present on over 900 million devices!

The chart above shows that Windows is second only to Android, but we are talking about the PC market here. And you can see from the graph that Microsoft's presence is massive.

Today, Windows is not just ahead of Android as an operating system, but we are talking about computers here, not smartphones.

But speaking of Android, know that the Microsoft Word application for the mobile system has already surpassed the barrier of 1 billion installations.
