Recently, Cuponation, a platform belonging to the Global Savings Group, gathered data on the profile of Facebook users and also on the number of members that the social network has on the planet. In total, there are about 2,32 billion users, a growth of 9% if compared to the first half of last year with the last half of 2018.
India is the country with the highest volume of Internet users using the network, revealed a study carried out by Statista. The fact may be related to the volume of the demographic population, in any case, the number is high, since it accounts for more than 300 million people. Next is the United States with 210 million users.
The third place is occupied by Spain, with more than 130 million users, that is, for every 10 Spaniards connected, 8 use Facebook. Here, the social network began to grow in 2008, and in 2012 it was already one of the most prominent networks. In the 2018 survey released by Rock Content, Facebook led the ranking of the most used social networks by respondents in the country (98,8%).

Rock Content traced the profile of internet users who use Facebook. More than half of the public is between 18 and 34 years old (more than 57 million). Between 35 and 54 years old, there are more than 27 million, between 55 and more than 65 years old, there are 6,7 million and the youngest, between 13 and 17 years old, represent 9 million users.
Regarding gender, 54% are women and 46% men. Among users, nearly 70% check Facebook at least once a day. To access the account on the social network, 95% of people use cell phones, while 65% of people use computers.
