The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima have confirmed release dates

Due to the quarantine forced by the number of outbreaks of Coronavirus (COVID-19) increasing in several regions, game studios have struggled to adapt the development of their titles to the Home Office. Sony Interactive Entertainment and Worldwide Studios were no exception. But even so, after several interruptions in the work style of the developers, the companies decided to inform their fans about how the development of some of the most awaited titles of the year for the Playstation 4 is going.

Worldwide Studios President Hermen Hulst announced today that The Last of Us Part II will debut on June 19, a game as highly anticipated as CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077. In addition to this reveal, it has also been confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima will release on July 17th.

Hermen congratulated the studios Naughty Dog (The Last of Us Part II) and Sucker Punch Productions (Ghost of Tsushima) for their achievements, as it was not easy to finish the games in this situation we are in. He says that:

"Both teams have worked hard to deliver world-class experiences, and we can't wait to see what you think of them when they launch in just a few months."

In addition, Hermen also thanked all the players in the Playstation community for their patience and continued support.

The Last of Us Part II will have, in addition to violence and blood, nudity and sexual content

Apparently, the game is becoming more mature. According to the images available on the official website of The Last of Us Part II, it is possible to check the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rating the game as M/+17. This rating is no different from The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Left Behind, however, the difference is in the content description that is attached to the rating. In The Last of Us we have "Sexual Themes", in Part II it is described that it contains "Sexual Content" and "Nudity".

Naughty Dog confirms The Last of Us 2 won't have multiplayer

Neil Druckmann, vice president of the studio Naughty Dog, responsible for the development of The Last of Us, said during an interview with the website The Telegraph that:

"It's so ambitious that we decided to make it single player only. There's no multiplayer in The Last of Us Part 2. I wanted to take advantage of all the resources to make this the biggest game we've ever made."
