Who thinks that the combat points (CP) of the little monsters of Pokémon GO are something random is wrong. As with the main Pokémon games, this new mobile phenomenon hides a secret layer of attributes for each Pokémon.
This layer is composed of the values of Attack, Defense and Stamina, which together result in CP (Combat Point). The higher the Pokemon's CP, the more successful it will be in battle and/or gym defense.
Reciting the obvious, the higher your Pokemon's CP, the stronger it is.
Now that you know what it takes to be a better Pokémon master than the winning Ash, learn how to guarantee evolutions with more than 1000 CP in Pokémon GO.
Your level is a crucial factor
If you think you can get strong Pokemon as early as level 5, you can get your Ponyta out of the rain. Your level as a trainer directly influences the level of the Pokémon you catch, and can improve
Of course, if you have enough energy, Stardust and Candies, you can get something. However, the best thing to do is save resources to start upgrading Pokémon when their level is higher.
Reaching level 14~15, we already get evolutions with more than 1.000 CP. Eevee is one of the easiest Pokémon to evolve, and it gives us powerful evolutions, as the darling of players, Vaporeon.
But my advice is: catch as many Pokémon as you can to gather a lot Stardust. Along with Candye, this is one of the most important items in the game. With it, and a sweetie, you strengthen your Pokémon, increasing its CP.
“Oh, so I can use Stardust to make my Rattata strong and dominate all the gyms in the region?”
No! The maximum CP that damn mouse can reach in the game is 581.65 CP.
But no need to moderate in the capture. Each little monster you catch will give you 100 Stardust, which unlike Candy, can be used on any Pokémon.
Putting all these teachings together, the best thing to do when you're at a low level is to capture everything you see ahead, until you get to a better level, to start with evolutions.
“I already have a high level, I want my Pokemon with more than 1000 CP”
Okay, okay, so you'll just need to keep an eye on a table that I'll put right below. In it you will see how much CP each Pokémon needs to have to reach more than 1000 CP in its final evolution.
For Pokémon with more than one evolution (the starters, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Pidgey, for example) the target is for their final evolution to reach 1000.
OBS: If you want Pokemon with 2000 CP, just double the table's value, but it's not guaranteed that you'll get it with everyone, I'll also leave here a list with the maximum CP that each Pokemon can reach.

With the data in this table, plenty of Stardust, Candy and a high level, it's easy to get strong evolutions. Let's say you have an Eevee with 224 CP and you want one vaporeon, aprimore (Power Up) seu Eevee até conseguir no mínimo 381 de CP.
But remember, you will still need 25 Eevee Candy to evolve. Each time you use Power Up on the Pokémon, you will spend an amount of Stardust and a Candy.
And here, a table that shows the maximum CP level your Pokemon can reach in the game.
