We recently had several images of Microsoft's upcoming operating system, Windows 11, leaked. Following the leaked screenshots posted on Baidu's website, there have been several images of Windows 11 appearing online.
Windows 11 has a similar interface to Windows 10X. It's a cleaner, simpler look, something Microsoft was doing in Windows 10X (before canceling it) to use the operating system on dual-screen devices. Overall, the biggest changes made will be to the taskbar, where the icons were in the center, along with the "Start" button.
here's a first look at Windows 11. There's a new Start menu, rounded corners, a new startup sound, and more https://t.co/VDS08QPsl5 pic.twitter.com/OkCyX3TtmI
— Tom Warren (@tomwarren) June 15, 2021In the new start menu we have a simplified design of what we currently have in Windows 10, without "Live Tiles" (animated icons). In this area are pinned applications, recently opened files and a button to quickly shut down and restart the computer.
If you don't want the application icons and start menu in the center, there is an option to move them to the left side. Additionally, dark mode is also available and Windows 11 ends up looking like a more refined version of Windows 10 rather than something entirely new.
Launch and availability
It is believed that there will be more changes besides the ones mentioned above, for example with respect to the built-in apps of Windows 11. As a good part of the operating system seems to have already finished, a beta version will probably arrive soon for Windows Insider participants. test.
