Microsoft has recently started to release a new update for the Xbox Game Bar (Xbox Game Bar) in Windows 10. In this update users have gained an interesting implementation that makes it possible to monitor the computer's resources (RAM, CPU, GPU, SSD/HD) and how much each application is using.
Although there are already tools and programs that already provide the data and functionality mentioned above, Xbox Game Bar offers a lightweight and flexible solution. The widget can track the PC's main resources and list which tasks are demanding the most, as well as the impact (low, medium or high) of each on the overall functioning of the computer. You can pin information to the desktop or close programs without leaving an application or game.
In addition to the news mentioned above, the Xbox Game Bar also gained the ability to monitor the GPU, being able to see its memory usage in the performance widget.
DirectX 12 Ultimate Compatibility
In case you want to know if your PC supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, Xbox Game Bar will give you the answer easily. Among the new features of DirectX12 Ultimate is the unification of technology for PC and Xbox Series X games with Ray Tracing, Variable Rate Shading, mesh shaders and sampler feedback.
Launch and availability
Xbox Game Bar is now available in its updated version on the Microsoft Store, just go to the Windows 10 app store and search for the app in the search bar.
