Samsung has always been blamed for rarely updating its smartphones' operating system. However, it seems that the situation has changed over time. The company started to make the new version of the system available for all its models, even if it is necessary to wait a little while.
Google announced Android Oreo back in August of last year, and so far, many devices have not received the update. Samsung, meanwhile, has already started delivering the latest version for its devices. Recently, the new Android has arrived for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. Afterwards, it was the turn of the Galaxy Note 8 to receive the news. Other branded devices should be the next to have the update. They are: Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and after these it is the turn of the intermediaries.

It is worth mentioning that many devices released with previous versions of the software were found running Android 8.0 Oreo undergoing certification in the Wi-Fi Alliance. This all means that the update may be close to reaching the general public. Including the Galaxy models of the S7 family, the mid-range A 2017 family, A3 and A5, and the Galaxy Xcover, a model that did not point in Spain.
To top it off, the Galaxy Tab S3 is also expected to receive the new version of the operating system. However, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus will not receive software updates.
We still don't have an Android Oreo arrival date for the devices mentioned above, however, it is believed that it should not be long, as they are already undergoing certification.
