At a special event held in Suwon, South Korea, Samsung Electronics celebrated its 50th anniversary. At the time, more than 400 employees were present, including the entire company's board of directors.

Kinam Kim, Vice President and CEO of DS Division, also made a statement saying, "Unpredictable changes, driven by material shifts in consumer demographics and behavior, will be a hallmark of the next era of the technology industry."
