Galaxy S21 Ultra may be the only model in the line with a curved screen

Samsung has been the subject of many leaks during the year 2020, and now that we are approaching the end of the year, a lot of information about the Galaxy S21 line has been leaking on the net.

Previous rumors confirmed that the South Korean company will launch its new smartphones with the Snapdragon 875 chips and the Exynos 2100, and another highlight stated that the Galaxy S21 line will support the S-Pen, a stylus that was used exclusively in the Note line of smartphones from the company.

At this moment, according to the Android Headlines portal, some images released on the network seem to state that Samsung will grant different screens for the versions of the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra.

Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the only premium model in the range

Images of "dummy phones", metal models used as a reference for the manufacture of accessories for the devices, show that only the S21 Ultra will have a curved screen. From what is evident, the entire line will have a certain prominence in its look, thanks to the camera module implemented in this new series of smartphones.

Models made of metal confirm the possible look of the devices.

Until then, it is possible to say that Samsung will follow a strategy that has been seen previously in the Galaxy Note line and possibly with the aim of making the S21 Ultra the only premium model in the S family.

The images help us to believe that only this model will have curved edges on the display, while the other two adopt flat panels. Information previously granted concludes that this is linked to the Samsung-Blade, a patent that was recently approved by the company with the aim of adopting common screens in more basic models of the line.

It is also possible to confirm the rumor that claimed that the camera module of the device would be inserted throughout the upper left corner. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the technical specifications of each component of the devices, but the expectation is that this rear camera will be formed by the new 3MP HM108 sensor, and support for laser autofocus, new technology from Samsung.

The cameras will be housed under a certain ledge on the back of the device.

As a reminder, some previous leaks claim that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will also feature a 5.000mAh battery. The most basic versions of the series such as the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus should keep most of the components already found in the Galaxy S20 line, with the exception of the chipset that is expected to be the Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 respectively, but without confirmation. at the time.

    When and how much?

Usually, Samsung introduces its new Galaxy S line phones in the month of February. However, this tradition can be broken, as the company can advance the launch to January, due to a strategy of competition with Apple and Huawei.

About price, the latest information was released on Twitter in September, claiming that the S21 Ultra will cost US$ 1.400, about R$ 7.378,00 in direct conversion. For now, nothing has been confirmed, and no information about the price of the other devices in the line has been released.
