Galaxy S9 is pointed out with problems with dark tones on the screen

Samsung is known for manufacturing the best screens on the market, even so, some devices may have problems in this regard. Reports have already shown that some units of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus had sensitivity failures in some points of it. Now, however, it seems that the problems continue.

Several Galaxy S9 owners, on online forums, are reporting color issues on their devices, which results in darker images. The bug, which is also called "black crush" or "color blending", shows black and dark tones that do not blend properly, resulting in a grainy or pixelated image with blocks of black.

The issue was tested by comparing the quality of darker videos on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9, and the bug appears on the new model.

The intensity of the problem appears different for each user, however, it was even found that there is a problem.

"Has anyone else noticed that the black tones don't blend properly? I first noticed it with the gradient on the wallpaper. It happens in movies too. The blacks don't blend and look pixelated. I contacted Samsung support by e-mail -mail", said one of the users who encountered the problem on their device.

The issue in question is not considered new, as it has been reported on the previous generation as well. Samsung has not yet commented on the fact.
