Rustler, the "Medieval GTA", will also be released on consoles! Modus Games and Jutsu Games announced that the game, which is already in early access on PC, will also come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

Rustler is called a "medieval take on oldschool sandbox action games", showing "an amazing and historically inaccurate world" filled with humor, pop culture references and numerous jokes about Medieval Europe.

Players control Guy, described as "a tough peasant whose parents were apparently too lazy to give him a proper name", who wakes up confused after a night of drinking, thus beginning the adventure.

    A Medieval GTA

Rustler is a title with an isometric view that is very reminiscent of the GTA franchise games before Rockstar offered to use 3D. In addition, during the journey the main character is involved in several crazy missions, needing to steal horses, terrorize the townspeople and even face the local guards. Guy's main goal, to improve his life, is to win the "Great Tournament", in addition to getting the princess' hand. While the character gets help from a friend named Buddy - it seems his parents didn't know how to choose names either - players get involved in several crazy situations in this medieval period.

Illegal racing, various weapons available and even a "taxi" service with horses, are some examples of what can be found in the game.

Rustler came to be called "GTA Medieval" or "Grand Theft Horse" by several players, due to all the similarities with the famous Rockstar franchise.

Rustler will be released for consoles later this year.
