    Samsung certifies Galaxy A12 with 5.000mAh battery; see specs

    The Samsung Galaxy A12 received today, Tuesday (24), a new certification at the FCC, indicating that the device will be launched in a few weeks by the manufacturer. Rumors indicate that just like the model of the Galaxy A21s (EB-BA217ABY), the A12 may also have a battery with a capacity of 5.000mAh. This information was not confirmed in the document provided by the FCC and which indicates which components were registered by the South Korean.

    The smartphone will come with an octa-core processor and frequency of up to 2,3Ghz. As for the chipset, leaks indicate that Samsung chose to insert MediaTek's Helio P35, which is considered an intermediate and has eight Cortex-A53 cores. As it is a simpler device, it is to be expected that it does not come with beefier hardware, however, it would be more worth investing in a Qualcomm component, such as the Snapdragon 732G, for example.

    In benchmark tests, the Helio P35 scored 86.352 points, beating the Snapdragon 625, released in 2016 by Qualcomm. To complement the specifications, the device will be launched with at least 4 GB of RAM. As in the other segments, Samsung is likely to divide the Galaxy A12 Series into three strands:

    • 3 GB / 64 or 32 GB;
    • 4 GB/ 64 GB;
    • 6 GB/ 128 GB.

    The screen has HD resolution and 6,5 inches with a notch for the 8 MP front camera sensor.
