Despite having launched the Galaxy Watch Active just three months ago, Samsung is already gearing up for a second edition. An official rendering of the watch was recently leaked, in addition to the SamMobile portal having access to some photos of the device - which allowed us to assume some technical specifications.
According to the leaked images, the watch will be the Galaxy Watch Active2 and not the Galaxy Watch 2, as rumors indicated. It will continue with the round design and will have two buttons on its side, one rectangular and the other with a red circle - we know that this is responsible for turning the device on and off, but it is still unclear what the function of the colored mark is.
This was one of the questions that has already displeased fans. Many were hoping that Samsung would bring a spin-able knob to navigate through smartwatch options, but apparently that won't happen.
Already in the specifications discovered by the portal, everything indicates that the Galaxy Watch Active2 will have two size options: 44 and 40mm. All will have Gorilla Glass protection and a huge heart monitor on their back. In terms of battery, everything indicates that the larger version will have 340mAh and the smaller 237mAh. As mentioned by SamMobile, these batteries should last for two days.
In addition, the expectation is that the watches will have 1.5GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, running One UI 1.5. There will be three color options, being silver, gold and black, in addition to the Wi-Fi-only and cellular network options.
