The Galaxy Z Flip follows the wave of phones with folding screens that was a sensation last year, other models we can mention are the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Motorla Razr and the Royole FlexPai.
While some models were a bit disappointing - Razr costing 1500USD and with an intermediate chipset, complicated huh Motorola? - and some broke in the first few weeks of use, others like the Galaxy Z Flip had much less problems and ended up going "under the radar" of many after a few months of launch.
The news now is that the rumors that there would be a 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip seem to be solidifying, as it ends up receiving Bluetooth 5.0 certification by the Bluetooth SIG agency.

What has changed?
If we disregard the addition of 5G networks and the new Bluetooth 5.0 standard....we don't know. Unfortunately these certifications are very specific and don't reveal many - in fact almost none - details of the device(s).
I put an s at the end of the last ones in the above paragraph because the novelty is that we will have at least 6 different models of the Z Flip that has the new 5G bands. The models listed on the website are as follows:
- SM-F707U
- SM-F707W
- SM-F707U1
- SM-F7070
- SM-F707_SPR
- SM-F707B
The SM-F707B model even appeared on Geekbench a few days ago, something that also reinforced its arrival with the new Snapdragon 865 processors. The information comes from Nashville Chatter and the model presented a score of 970 points in Single-core and 3220 points in Multi-core.
Launch
The launch of the 5G version with Qualcomm's new processor is expected to take place on August 5th, and if everything continues to go well for the South Korean giant, the date should solidify.
