    Samsung launches 2019 QLED TV lineup

      Samsung has unveiled its new 2019 QLED TV lineup. The company is offering several 8K and 4K TVs, as well as updated versions of The Frame and Serif sets, which focus on design.

      The 2019 lineup is getting bigger and bigger, with the company offering 75- and 82-inch versions of all Q-series models. The 8K Q900 appears even bigger, with an 85-inch set and a 98-inch TV. Screens need to be really big to be able to tell the difference between 4K and 8K.



      The premium sets of the Q90 and Q80 series feature what Samsung calls "Ultra Viewing Angle technology, which restructures the TV's bezels so that the backlight passes through the panel with lights evenly across the screen." According to the company, the end result comes down to an excellent photo, no matter where the user is sitting. To top it off, reduced brightness is considered another important factor.

      The Q90, Q80 and Q70 series sets arrive with full-array local dimming, with their rear LEDs adjusting the brightness scene by scene.

      Samsung is extolling the features of the AI-powered QLED 2019 family. So the audio and image settings can be adjusted in real-time based on the content being viewed.
