The insurance covers the device for up to two years, and guarantees the repair of accidental damage to the screen, as well as cracks and also damage caused by liquids.
Cosmetic damage and also theft are not covered by insurance, however, to compensate, the protection plan offers international coverage.
As a rule of the plan, within a period of two years, the customer can only use the accidental damage repair service twice, and each time a deductible of 79 euros (about R$ 310) will be charged.
Anyone who wants to join the plan will have 30 days after purchasing a device. After the two years of coverage, the plan can be renewed.
Finally, only a few models enter the scheme of the plan, they are: Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8.
