Samsung has brought to Spain the HMD Odyssey+, an upgrade of the brand's mixed reality device, containing new embedded technologies as well as even more immersive visuals to get the most out of games and apps compatible with the Windows Mixed Reality platform and other partners. See what's new:
more real immersion
The two 3,5-inch AMOLED screens, with 1.233 pixels per inch, provide great immersion, mainly because they are combined with the 'Anti-Screen Door Effect' (Anti-SDE) feature. The technology makes the fine lines that separate the pixels imperceptible, allowing for longer-term enjoyment without any compromises, such as dizziness.
The Samsung HMD Odyssey+ integrates AKG's premium audio technology for detailed, dynamic sounds, delivering clear, accurate acoustics from every angle. The device also has built-in volume controls, which allow custom volume adjustment.
refined gameplay
The device supports movement in six directions while gaming (6DOF), joysticks enable users to access the most intense mixed reality experiences. Controllers are able to detect all movement and distance traveled, providing more natural gameplay and significantly reducing any dizziness during matches.
Another highlight is the high-quality microphones positioned at the bottom of the display, essential for better communication during matches, which makes it the ideal model for those who need agility and value group strategy.
Improved usability and comfort
The device weighs only 590g, 55 grams less than the previous version. The Samsung HMD Odyssey+ was developed to provide greater comfort, mainly due to the better fit for the face providing more space, including facilitating the use of prescription glasses.
In addition, installation is also more intuitive. The HMD Odyssey+ features Bluetooth, which includes direct connection to the controls and making setup simpler. In addition, the joysticks are already paired with the glasses, so the user can start playing immediately.

The HMD Odyssey+ hits stores in February 22 and has a suggested price of R$ 3.499.
