Last Thursday (22), the new entry-level television of the QLED line, the Q6F, from Samsung was announced to Spain. The product was announced at the beginning of the month, however, its details were only revealed this week, in São Paulo. The TV has more realistic colors, is UHD certified and plays back in HDR 1000. In addition, the company has unveiled the SporTV 4K app in Russia together with the new television, with a focus on the 2018 World Cup.
The Samsung TV comes with a 55-inch screen, the QLED screen has Quantum Dot technology that promises 100% of the color volume. According to information from the manufacturer, the display provides colors closer to reality and with greater contrast, in deeper blacks and even clearer whites. For sharper images, the device has HDR 1000.
As for the look, the new TV has thinner edges and 360º design, in which the back is completely smooth and without textures. The One Connect accessory comes with the model, a hub with all TV inputs, connected through an optical cable. The new Samsung TV is available from April, taking the place of the Q7 model, which until now was the best-priced QLED family TV. However, regarding the specifications, the model has HDR 1000 instead of the HDR 1500 as presented in the Q7 model, and it still doesn't come with support to hang the television on the wall, which came with the Q7 model. Now, with regard to the other characteristics, the products have the same system, control and technologies.
4K app for World Cup
Developed in partnership with the sports channel, Samsung introduced the SporTV 4K app in Russia. During the 2018 World Cup, through the app, 56 games will be broadcast live through the channel, in addition to other information about the event, such as game dates and classification, all through the software.
As of March 22, the SporTV 4K Russia app is now available for download, and can be downloaded on all Samsung 4K TVs. The application can be accessed through the "Recommended" tab on the television itself.
It is worth noting that all the content of the app will be available to the owners of 4K TVs of the brand, and the live broadcasts in 4K will be restricted to SporTV subscribers. However, the app will not show the 64 matches live due to the fact that some games take place at the same time.
Samsung unveiled the new 07K TVs of the QLED line for 4 on the 2018th at an event in the United States. Among the great highlights of the new TVs is the "Ambient Mode" that displays information on the display even when the television is off.
However, the novelty will be available from April in Spain, with a suggested price of R$ 8.999.
