    Tutorial: How to edit sent messages on Telegram

    Currently, the Telegram has 100 million of users, with an average of 350 thousand joining him every day, and with a stream of 15 bilhões of messages per day. All this thanks to WhatsApp blocking which took place at the beginning of the month. In the period of the blockade alone, the messenger gained 2 million users in Spain.

    Thinking about it, we do Techlifers We're making a series of tutorials to teach you everything from basic app usage to advanced tips and tricks. Today we are going to learn how to edit sent messages.

    The novelty came in version 3.9 of Telegram, which also brought the possibility to mention users even if they don't have a username defined (learn here how to create your Telegram username).

    Also new is the possibility to add chat shortcuts to the home screen and find shortcuts for bots in the attachment menu.

    Knowing the news of Telegram, let's go to the tutorial.

    How to edit edit messages in Telegram

    1. Open any conversation and send a message;
    2. Tap on the message. Don't confuse tapping with pressing, just give one touch fast.
    3. In the drop-down menu that will open, click Edit.
    4. Change the message freely, as if you were going to send a new text. If you want, you can even erase the entire text and type a new one. To confirm the edit, tap the confirm sign, which is in the upper right corner of the screen.
