You must have seen this on your timeline: when a friend of yours does friendship with someone else, this information appears for you. It may seem irrelevant to some users, but to others it is a nuisance privacy issue. After all, you're not obligated to reveal to all your contacts who you make friends with on Facebook. And worse: not having to put up with some colleagues commenting on your new connection.
Fortunately, Mark Zuckerberg's social network allows hide these actions. accessing the configurações of your profile, you can prevent comments and people from viewing who you've added. Below, see the step by step of how to configure this configuration.
Hiding friends who add you
First, go to your profile and click “View Activity Log”, which is in the lower-right corner of your cover photo. Under “Activity log”, you will see some filters in the left column. Click on “More” to expand the options and then click on the “Friends” option.
On the friendship configuration screen, click on the button next to the magnifying glass, as shown in the image below.
A small menu will appear with some options. uncheck the option “New Friends Report”.
