This week Samsung released an update to One UI 3.0 Beta on three devices from the South Korean manufacturer, including the Galaxy S10 Lite and the M31, the first being updated to Android 11, the latest version of the Google operating system that is the basis of the software that is being developed by Samsung and will be officially released in the future, probably from the second half of 2021.
Despite being classified as devices in the 'premium intermediates' segment, both the A51 5G and the M31 received the new system, thus evidencing the brand's attention to models that are not high-end and do not have a guaranteed update.

For now, we still don't know if the new software will be available to all users or if, like the S10 Lite, it will be released for smartphones in certain countries. Apparently the first batch of update was made available in South Korea, but it will certainly arrive later via OTA (Over-The-Air) for users registered in the manufacturer's beta testers program.
There is still no information about the expansion of the program to other devices, but it is likely that Samsung will not enter new countries to receive the unofficial version of One UI 3.0.

Is the beta version safe?
In November, Samsung had to stop testing One UI 3.0 due to a series of complaints from users. According to a report published by the manufacturer, the cause of the interruption was a critical error in the battery of some models, more specifically the S10 Series.
After updating to the new firmware version, the smartphone significantly increased its energy consumption, thus discharging in a few minutes after a full charge. Currently the problem has already been fixed, but using the beta version means receiving first-hand bugs that will not be in the stable version. However, it is also an opportunity to test all the features of the software in advance.
