The newly announced Samsung Galaxy Fold3 is the first phone with a foldable screen that supports the S Pen. However, unfortunately it will not be compatible with older S Pen models. According to Samsung, two compatible versions have been developed, the exclusive one for the brand's folding phones, the S Pen Fold, and the S Pen Pro, which is probably compatible with the other models in the Galaxy Fold line.
Unlike previous S Pens, the new pens come with a tip that is soft and retractable. When the user applies pressure, their mechanism prevents damage to the folding screen. If you try to press harder on the screen using the old S Pen on the Galaxy Fold, it is likely that the screen will damage (even if the new model in the series has 80% more resistant protection).
It is interesting to note that if the user of a Galaxy Fold3 cell phone tries to use the older S Pen, the One UI (OS based on Android developed by Samsung) will display a warning saying that the model is incompatible. With this, the system will block the use of the pen.

Price
Samsung will sell the S Pen Fold Edition for $50 while the S Pen Pro will cost $100. It is interesting to note that in many markets Samsung offers pre-order packages with the S Pen Fold Edition.
Exynos W920, wearables chip is launched along with Galaxy Watch 4
Just before the Galaxy Fold3 and Galaxy Watch 4 were unveiled, Samsung announced the new chip that will be used by its newest smartwatches. It is the Exynos W920, which brings several improvements in terms of CPU and GPU compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 9110.
