Users who own the S21 and S21 Plus smartphones reported on their social networks and on Samsung's official channels that the latest OneUI update affected the battery life of the devices.
All About the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultrabattery drain
A bug present from the last update of the manufacturer's operating system made the smartphones of the S21 line present high energy consumption, thus drastically reducing the autonomy of the device to just a few hours, not exceeding half a day.
Apparently the problem only affects models that bring the Exynos 2100 processor, chipset manufactured by Samsung itself and destined for Latin American countries. Excessive battery drain was only identified on the S21 and S21 Plus, for now we still have no reports of this failure in the ultra version of the South Korean flagship.
The company stated that it is aware of the issue and is working to release a software update containing the fix for the Galaxy S21 Series battery issue. There is still no deadline for the fix to arrive via OTA (Over-The-Air) for users, but the brand's customers ask for urgency and it is possible that Samsung will make a new patch available in the next half of this month.

It is now possible to find all models of the S21 line available for pre-order here. In some stores it is possible to purchase the devices with up to R$ 850 cashback in some models using the Inter Shop, Banco Inter's shopping platform.
