In July! Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with Snapdragon 888, S Pen and lighter

Much anticipation has been created around the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphone. Several information has been ventilated on the network allowing a better perception of what we can expect from the device. According to the latest reports, the device will come integrated with the most powerful processor available on the market today, and will be lighter in weight than its predecessor.

Last week we heard that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be integrated with the S Pen, but without a slot to integrate it into its case, just like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. This time, the well-known leaker IceUniverse, confirmed the presence of the accessory and revealed more details about its probable data sheet.

    better and lighter

The Z Fold 2 hit the market last December integrated with the Snapdragon 855 and weighing 282g. According to the "Twitter cat", this year's model will come with a Snapdragon 888 and 13g lighter than the Z Fold 2. This weight reduction must be related to the new Armor Frame, the supposed name of a titanium or carbon fiber, which promise to be lighter than steel and even aluminum.

In addition, the battery should be another factor that will contribute to a lower weight, since the expected is a 4.275 mAh module, against 4.500 mAh of the Z Fold 2, as well as a smaller external screen as well. The weight should be significantly less than its predecessor, however, there are reports that it (alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3) will be the first folding smartphone to have IP68 certification, which will result in an increase in luggage.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are expected to arrive in July, and will apparently show great advances for this new generation of foldables. They are expected with the Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), which is nothing more than a protection system for the glass of the screens and hinge mechanisms. Speaking of screen, both should be equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
