As we already know, Facebook is involved in a major scandal involving the breach of its users' data. Because of this, the social network must adopt more drastic measures to avoid possible problems related to the subject over time.
Now, this Friday (20), Instagram applied changes to its terms of service, with the intention of adapting to the changes promoted by Facebook, which also controls the social photo network. Members received a notice for the adequacy of the new measures.

"Instagram has been a part of Facebook since 2012 and we are making some corporate changes. From now on, our terms will reflect that Facebook Inc is responsible for Instagram. The Instagram app and the way we process data have not changed. Our terms now are clearer about the service we provide and what we expect every member of our community to do to keep Instagram a safe place for everyone."
The terms now confirm that Instagram and Facebook share data with each other and sell it to advertisers. However, they emphasize the guarantee of users' ownership of the photos and also the videos.
Earlier this month, the platform had changed its usage and data policy, all because of the recent data breach scandals.
The new policy also emphasizes that the information is used internally to improve services and fight cyberbullying.
If you've already received the new changes, what do you think about it?
