Instagram just announced a new feature for its app that promises improve the quality of life of its users. This is the function "Take a Break" ("Give it a break"), where the app will remind the person to take a break after spending 10-30 minutes browsing. The reason for this is that sometimes many find it difficult to stop looking at the newss that appear on social networks and, consequently, end up losing track of the time they spend on the platform.
The announcement of the novelty was made by Adam Mosseri on his Twitter account. In the statement from the head of Instagram it is said that the user will be able to choose how much time he wants to spend each time you access the application. Instagram's newly launched "Take a Break" feature is a similar feature to "Digital Wellbeing", a tool implemented by Google starting with Android 9 (Pie).
