Like this?! Samsung files patent for case with human ears

Patents are very important to many companies. Huawei, for example, led in registrations last year, leaving well-known names like Intel and Qualcomm behind. Now, a Samsung patent filed on April 4 has been found in The Hague International Design System. It's funny to say the least, as it shows a smartphone case with two human ears on each side.

In total, six images were released revealing this bizarre accessory. The description attached to the patent does not explain in detail what the purpose of the ears is, but we can assume that they should help to dissipate audio in devices with stereo speakers, delivering a higher volume than normal thanks to the shape of the ears.

The case does not have an extendable design that allows you to place smartphones of different sizes, but it does deliver a mechanism that stretches vertically to fit the device and keep it steady. We strongly believe that this patent is just a prank delayed from April 1st, given that the filing took place on the 4th.

After all, what is the real meaning of a case with two human ears? Anyway, nothing prevents Samsung from making this strange accessory official at some point, as the patent was successfully registered. However, this is quite unlikely.
