    Samsung Galaxy S10 may launch on February 20

      Samsung has revealed the date of its next event in which it should launch its new Galaxy S handsets. The event will take place in February 20, at 11 am, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, in San Francisco.

      Samsung highlights in the invitation that 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy series, with the number 10 being highlighted. According to a report published in The Wall Street Journal, Samsung will show off a "fully functional" version of its long-developed foldable device, as well as the three variants of the Galaxy S10. But later, the launch of a fourth device with 5G connectivity should happen.

      The three versions of the device include: the standard version, with a 6,1-inch curved screen and will cost around $1.012 with 128GB of storage and $1.265 with 512GB. The Galaxy S10 Lite will have a 5,8-inch flat screen and will retail for around $850 with 128GB of storage. The Plus version will have a 6,4-inch screen, costing US$1.140 for 128GB; $1.393 for 512GB and $1.775 for 1TB.

      Samsung is holding the Unpacked event a week before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​a fair where the company usually presents its Galaxy S line. This year's event will certainly reveal many devices involving 5G technology.

      Regarding mobile telephony, 2019 will be a very important year. It is worth mentioning that 2018 was not an exceptional year for Samsung, as it did not sell its Galaxy S9. To top it off, this week the company released an earnings forecast alert for the fourth quarter, when it had the lowest smartphone profits.
