The 5G network is the future of the internet and its main objective is to make the world more connected at a higher speed. Companies in the industry are looking to implement the technology in their products, and Samsung is no different.

Samsung strikes deal with AT&T for 5G network deployment

Samsung closes deal with AT&T for 5G network deployment.

Initially, the fifth-generation network is expected to reach Dallas, Atlanta, Oklahoma and four other regions. Already, the second leg should be available in Houston, New Orleans, Louisville, San Antonio, and Jacksonville.

In this phase, Samsung will enter with its equipment, investments for implementation and research that could reach US$ 22 billion.

It is worth mentioning that during the implementation of 4G, the South Korean was unable to conclude major agreements for the supply of equipment to the telephone companies. Now, with a good structure in progress, the brand has a great possibility of investing in other products besides the traditional ones.

The segment of electronic devices is expected to be on the rise. Earlier this year, for example, the manufacturer closed a deal with Qualcomm to manufacture 7-nanometer chips with 5G.
